Livestock
We are committed to the establishment of new intensive pig farming operations and the modernization of existing ones. Currently, we have multiple operations in Aragón, all located in the province of Huesca, in one of the areas where the country’s major agri-food companies are situated.
Our operations are strategically located within the same operational area, allowing us to minimize costs and maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of our professionals, as well as the companies that work with us. The proximity between different centers, good access, and short distances to major land transport routes facilitate daily operations.
All our operations and facilities are equipped with running water, automated climate control systems, and the latest technology, thus complying with animal welfare standards.
Agriculture
LABERG owns several agricultural farms, both irrigated and rainfed, dedicated to cereal cultivation, located in Ribagorza and Monegros.
Having our own crop fields allows us to maintain meticulous control over the cereal, from cultivation to harvest and subsequent marketing. It also enables us to reuse fertilizing materials generated in our livestock operations and monitor nitrates in the areas we cultivate, making us more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Research and development
(Carbon Absorption)
The world is constantly evolving, which is why at LABERG, we believe it’s essential to explore different ways of working to have the least possible impact on the environment. With this foundation, we aim for our forests to serve as a means to offset and reduce our carbon footprint, which traditional production systems alone tend to generate.
What truly sets us apart is our strong commitment to sustainability. We are focused on minimizing our emissions and adopting eco-friendly practices at every stage of our supply chain. Choosing us as a company contributes to the expansion of a greener and more sustainable sector for all.
